Harvest festival
On Friday 13th October, we celebrated Harvest. Children brought in a wide variety of food items to donate to Louisa from Derringham Bank church and also to the Hull food bank.
Our year 6 children explained to the rest of the school what Harvest means today and in the past.
We had an amazing time singing wonderful Harvest songs. And then Louisa told us all about being thankful for what we have and about the symbolism of a jammy dodger!
After the assembly, we helped Louisa to fill her car with all your donations. She had a very full boot and said a very big thank you to us all at Ainthorpe!
